Via Directsattv.com - HBO's True Blood Steaming Up TV Screens Worldwide!
DirectTV offers some of the best television packages in the country, with some of the most popular channels playing the most popular series, such as HBO's "True Blood".
TV screens across the globe have been practically melted with the steam radiating from HBO's hit series, "True Blood" for the past three summers. "True Blood", now in its third season, is based off of "The Southern Vampire Mysteries", informally known as "The Sookie Stackhouse Novels" written by Charlaine Harris and features some of the sexiest, best acted vampires to ever grace the screen of Sunday night television.
DirectTV offers HBO packages so that you can see what all the "True Blood" craze is about and watch vampires Bill Compton (played by Stephen Moyer) and Eric Northman (played by Alexander SkarsgÄrd) face off for the affections of Sookie Stackhouse (played by Anna Paquin).
(SPOILER ALERT)
The first season of "True Blood" starts off with Sookie's story. She is a waitress in the small southern town of Bon Temps. She can also (involuntarily) read minds and longs for some peace and quiet. One night, she gets her wish when Bon Temp's first vampire (they are "out of the coffin" in this alternate reality) Bill Compton walks into the restaurant, Merlotte's, she is a waitress at. Sookie can't hear Bill's thoughts. He is everything she has ever wished for - old fashioned, loving and unpredictable. From there forward, Sookie finds herself in many sticky situations, from almost being eaten from a vampire coven to getting involved with the Sheriff of Area 5, Eric Northman.
Season two of "True Blood" introduces shifters, or those with the ability to change back and forth from human to animal, and long forgotten Greek Goddesses. The amazing second season of "True Blood" is too far out there to describe; not to mention fantastic!
Season three of "True Blood" brings vampire kings and queens, fairy, werewolves and werepanthers. If you are an avid "True Blood" viewer, then you know that Sookie is of fae descent and is irresistible to vampires. After gaining that bit of knowledge, it is difficult to know if Bill really does love Sookie and if Eric really is attracted to Sookie, the human woman or Sookie, the delicious smelling Fae.
Which way is up? What exactly is going on in the world of "True Blood"? Only watching the hit TV show will tell, and you can only watch if you have HBO! DIRECTV offers packages to fit any needs, on any budget and includes premium channels such as HBO - the home of "True Blood".
