It is always interesting to see how the web compares to the rest of the world. There is still a huge disparity between various real-world entities and their reach in the online space. This is even more interesting when looking at regional real-world entities like sports teams. As one of the geeks-in-residence here at DirectSat, I wondered exactly what that penetration was in online communities, especially web 2.0 communities that I tend to use quite a bit. So, without further adeiu, I have taken the time to grab the data from tons and tons of data comparing the occurrence of varions NFL teams on the web. Below is the complete graphical representation.
